Keld Mikkelsen founded DAY 1997 at the age of 39 and the idea, as reflected in the brand name, was to create glamor of everyday life. The brand's bohemian yet modern style with fine stitching and detailed decorations caught a customer base eager to buy a design that has a story to tell.

14 years after that Keld Mikkelsen founded DAY Birget et Mikkelsen 2nd Day was born and shows a more raw and a more youthful side of DAY. The clothes are manufactured to be used for both everyday and special occasions by mixing and matching after your own taste. Like a little sister 2nd Day is a little more rebellious with tough chains and interesting cuts and details. Draping with feminine elegance and a color scale between gray and black and earthy shades shows that the border from big sister DAY isn´t far away.
